During November 2021 the poetry society had the honour of taking part in the #NeverOk campaign alongside the SU. On this evening, we hosted an Open Mic Night in the Hangar where we shared poetry on the theme of consent. The atmosphere was vulnerable and comforting and it was wonderful to hear so many voices speaking out about their experiences and thoughts on consent.  

Every student has the right to live and study in a safe and supportive environment. We want to put a stop to all forms of violent, coercive, and discriminatory behaviour, because it’s #NeverOK.
